Netflix dropped the second full Daredevil Season 2 trailer today, picking up where the last one left off.
In the new trailer, we barely get to see The Punisher at all as Elektra (played by Elodie Yung) gets most of the focus this time around. I like that her costume is a more subtle and realistic version than what we’ve seen in previous, not so successful, incarnations. There will also apparently be some sex scenes between Elektra and Daredevil, but hopefully they won’t be needlessly gratuitous. It does seem that all three major female characters are vying for Murdoch’s affections in some way though.
There are also plenty of ninjas and yakuza coming to Hell’s Kitchen. It turns out Daredevil didn’t clear them out after all. They were just lying in wait. We also get the first mention of The Hand from our old pal Stick.
We also got another glimpse into more of the internal conflict of whether or not Daredevil is doing the right thing or not including some fighting between him and Foggy (and even a quick shot of Foggy with an arm in a sling).
The more I see of Daredevil Season 2, the more I can’t wait to binge watch the entire season when it comes out on March 18th.
